Mountain bike saddle bag adapter for dropper posts
The Backcountry Dropper Post Adapter allows the Backcountry Saddle Pack to be used on mountain bike dropper seat posts. The adapter is designed to hold the saddle bag securely while limiting movement to prevent damage to the seat post as well as the bag. The broad, flat rear section and ridged strap retainer improve stability over rough terrain.

Taugt nix
Die Aussparung am Adapter für den Staub-Abstreifring der Vario Sattelstütze ist nicht hoch genug, sodass der Adapter beim Absenken der Sattelstütze immer auf dem Staubring knallt. Das kann auf Dauer unmöglich gut gehen. Die zwei Schräubchen für die Klemmung des Adapters sind selbst mit der dünnen Gummiunterlage recht kurz und müssen bei der Montage ordentlich hineingedrückt werden. Eines der Löcher für diese Schräubchen ist zur Seite offen, was wahrscheinlich die Montage erleichtern soll. Das führt aber dazu, dass beim entsprechenden Anzug der Schräubchen der Kunststoff recht schnell nachgibt und das "Langloch" ausreißt. Getestet wurde der Adapter mit einer Fox Transfer MJ:2025. Der Adapter wirkt irgendwie nicht zu Ende gedacht bzw. im Detail schlecht konstruiert und ist das Geld nicht wert. Insgesamt eine ziemlich enttäuschende Vorstellung von Apidura.
