All Apidura saddle bags are equipped with a three-point fastening system with Hypalon-reinforced Velcro straps which increases stability and reduces movements. To meet the needs of different riding styles, Apidura offers bags for three areas:

- Backcountry: The Saddle Pack from the Backcountry series is particularly durable to protect your equipment even in the wilderness. The bag is also dropper post compatible for MTB use.

The idea behind a large saddlebag positioned over the rear tire is to achieve a lightweight, slim and pannier-free setup. When riding off-road, the minimal form factor ensures that everything remains maneuverable and out of the way on narrow tracks. As with other bikepacking bags, there are many sizes and fastening systems to choose from.

Saddlebags offer plenty of storage space for compressible items such as clothing or sleeping bags. Of course, items such as spare tubes or camping stoves also find a place in the bags. You should pack heavy items inwards close to the seat post and light items towards the back.
