Adapter Thru Axle for mounting bike racks or trailers
The ORTLIEB Thru Axle M6-Connector has an integrated M6 thread on both sides. The axle is therefore the perfect solution for mounting pannier racks on bike frames without an integrated thread. This axle can replace your rear wheel axle installed by the manufacturer up to 180 mm axle length and can therefore be used almost universally. The adapter axle can be adjusted to the required length using the spacers supplied.

Thread pitch (TP):
Ideally, the thread pitch is printed on your original thru axle. The value is usually labeled TP (Thread Pitch). However, you can also measure the thread pitch yourself. You can find instructions on how to do this in the product photos.
- F78112 = 1.00 mm
- F78113 = 1.50 mm
- F78114 = 1.75 mm

- 28 mm long M12 thread for plenty of clearance
Shaft length:
- 180 mm without spacer
- The minimum adjustable length is 165 mm
- With the various spacers included, the length can be precisely adjusted to the width of your frame. You can find more spacers as accessories in our store.
- Ideally, your current stem length is printed on your original thru axle. However, you can also measure the length yourself. You can find instructions on how to do this in the product photos.

Die Achse für den schnellen Wechsel
Die Achse eignet sich perfekt für mein Cervelo Aspero 5, das keine Anbaumöglichkeiten bietet. Den Quick Rack von Ortlieb musste ich aber modifizieren und die obere mittlere Strebe entfernen.
So dauert jetzt die Montage des Gepäckträgers nur wenige Sekunden.

funktional
Gute Möglichkeit für Carbonrahmen, mit dem einfachen und werkzeugfreien Ausbau des Hinterrads zum Flicken ist es dann aber (vor allem mit Montagevorrichtung für den Quick Rack) vorbei. Aber insgesamt die beste Alternative, die ich gefunden habe.
